The Arganica Produce Crate is a handmade wooden container filled with the freshest seasonal produce. It’s perfect for foodies who prefer a little “surprise” every week over ordering la carte. The Arganica Produce Box comes in two varieties: “All Local” and “Mixed”.
All Local
All Local Crate:
A Sample All Local Crate - : New Day Farm Heirloom Tomatoes, Bibb Lettuce, Nectarines, Donut Peaches, Peaches, Zucchini, Green Beans, Carrots, Gala Apples, Yellow Onions, Corn, Yukon Potatoes, Watermelon, Eggplant, Red Bell Peppers. Contents may vary due to supply.
Mixed
Mixed Crate:
A Sample Mixed Crate - : New Day Farm Heirloom Tomatoes, Bibb Lettuce, Nectarines, Peaches, Eggplant, Gala Apples, Yellow Onions, Corn, Yukon Potatoes, Kale, Cantaloupe. Contents may vary due to supply.
“All Local”: $40.00
The "All Local" contains a generous selection of fresh fruits and vegetables grown by regional farmers who practice sustainable and/or organic farming methods, including no-spray and low-spray.
“Mixed”: $30.00
The "Mixed" is a mix of the local bounty and nationally and internationally-grown, organic-certified produce (fair-trade when available).
Both include staples such as lettuce, cooking greens, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, carrots, apples and pears. They may also include special items such as mushrooms, bell peppers, citrus, Brussels sprouts, squash, wild berries, and locally produced artisan foods. When our farmers have a last-minute abundance of a particular crop that is not available on our regular menu, we will often add this to our produce crates as well.
